My brother loves hats. Since he is a 19 year old college student, he was lacking in funds to create a storage space for all the hats he spent all his money on.
We got the perfect solution, to use pushpins in the wall from a friend of mine who was already doing it.
He did not give us any more information so I am here to give you all the little details to make your hat storage easier.
- Pushpins (see photo below)
Place the first pencil mark in the corner about as high as you want the top row to start and work your way down. Then start going across the row adding pencil marks as you go.
Go from one pencil mark to the next and make sure they are level. Then add the pins. We spaced out the push pins 12 inches and the next row above/below is 14 inches.
Put the pushpins in at an angle. You want the pushpins pointing slightly upward so they aren’t completely straight in. This will help your hats stay on them.
Once you have completed, hang your hats and step back to view your art.
Beautiful! My bother has been doing this for a while now (between 6 months and a year) and he still loves it.
Do you have any hat storage/display solutions you recommend?
Have a fabulous day!
